Hans and Bergit Slettvoll

It all started in 1951 when Hans and Bergit Slettvoll set up a small business in their home at Stranda in Sunnmøre. They made wicker baskets, doll prams and small furniture, which were then transported by bicycle to the ferry and out into the world. It was a success, and the company expanded rapidly.

Scandinavia's leading manila furniture manufacturer

In the 70s, Slettvoll was Scandinavia's leading manufacturer of manila furniture.

Torill Slettvoll

In the 80s, Hans and Bergit's daughter, Torill, joined the family business. Torill grew up in Stranda's small furniture factory. She was surrounded by creative joy, strong will, and hard work, which laid the foundation for the values she carried with her throughout her life. Together with CEO Lidvar Lillebø, Torill has grown Slettvoll into one of the leading destinations for quality and design.
