A collaboration of tradition and craftsmanship
Since 1762, Hadeland Glassverk has been producing glass art with pride and precision. Today, it stands as Norway’s oldest industrial company, renowned for its unique craftsmanship and timeless design. Together, we have developed a series of lamps that not only illuminate a space but also tell a story of tradition and enduring beauty. The lamps are named after Norwegian rivers, a nod to nature’s strength and tranquillity — values we seek to reflect in their visual expression.
Each lamp in the collection is the result of genuine Norwegian craftsmanship, created with pride and precision. The collaboration between Slettvoll and Hadeland Glassverk brings together two strong traditions in lighting that endures, both in quality and in expression.
The Glitra chandelier
The Glitra chandelier is crafted with impressive artistry and timeless elegance. It is available in two sizes, featuring either 87 or 16 hand-cast glass prisms. The prisms have an organic pattern that creates beautiful light refraction and a warm, shimmering glow. Glitra comes with a 300 cm adjustable wire, making it naturally the focal point of any room.
Embla
Embla is a large ceiling lamp with a bold and modern expression. Its distinctive globe is mouth-blown and bears evident traces of artisanal quality. With its strong silhouette and warm, cocoa-coloured finish, Embla becomes a natural focal point in the room, ideally suited above a dining table or in a spacious hallway. The lamp is supplied with a 500 cm adjustable wire.
Eira
Eira is a sleek ceiling lamp featuring 3, 5, 7 or 9 mouth-blown glass globes in a warm cocoa hue. Each globe is shaped by hand by skilled glassblowers — a process requiring precision and collaboration among eight artisans. Its timeless form makes Eira a natural centrepiece above the dining table, in the living room or in a hallway. The lamp is suspended from a round ceiling plate with a 500 cm adjustable wire, allowing for easy height adjustment to suit the space.
