Algaida décor

The wooden sculptures Algaida have been hand-picked for their ethnic character for the Slettvoll & Malene Birger collection. The objects were originally used as bed legs by the Songay-Peulh people in Niger. Here the long wooden batons are used as a bed base, fixed in 6-10 pcs. Algaida at each end. On the top, a mat was laid over as a mattress.
