Designing interiors for one of the Nordic region’s most iconic luxury hotels required a careful approach, with respect for the hotel’s history, heritage, and identity. The result is a harmonious, understated luxury where warm tones, timeless design, and carefully chosen materials create spaces for tranquility, comfort, and quality.

All furniture is custom-made with carefully selected fabrics that not only complement each individual room but also withstand daily use in exclusive surroundings.
In one suite, the generous seating area is composed of two Maddox sofas, whose subdued expression is elegantly contrasted by two Twin chairs. Together, the chairs create a balanced symmetry, where houndstooth-patterned fabrics add a refined touch to the chairs’ clean lines. The two coffee tables at the center serve as a solid and stylish core, beautifully arranged with vases, candle holders, and books that discreetly enhance the luxurious hotel atmosphere.
In the bedroom, the textile universe continues as a common thread. The bed is adorned with cushions in the same houndstooth fabric as the Twin chairs, while the bedspread carries forward the warm, muted color palette, creating a consistent, serene theme. All cushions and fabrics are chosen with a focus on both comfort and aesthetics – reflecting d’Angleterre’s high standards.
In the second suite, the Sussex sofa forms the centerpiece of the seating area. A classic with modern lines that exudes elegance through soft contours and artisanal details. Reversible back cushions combined with fixed seats provide balanced seating comfort that invites relaxation. Opposite, two Scott armchairs complement the arrangement with extra comfort, while the symmetrical layout emphasizes the suite’s exclusive, almost monumental character.
In the bedroom, fabrics from the seating area reappear, tying the room’s expression together beautifully. The muted patterns contribute to an understated luxury that creates an atmosphere of calm and comfort. At the foot of the bed stands a Frazer pouf, whose sleek and exclusive design adds a modern contrast. The black steel frame provides a striking counterpoint to the soft seat cushion, while the choice of fabric once again underscores that every detail has been carefully considered.
The round Nico dining table with a steel pedestal forms a sophisticated focal point in the room. The custom-made white tabletop contrasts elegantly with the pedestal’s dark finish and is framed by Dali chairs, which combine a clean, modern design with excellent seating comfort thanks to their curved backs.
The collaboration with d’Angleterre has been marked by meticulous attention and respect for even the smallest details. The result is a modern, timeless interior that beautifully honors the legacy of The White Lady – a luxury that can be seen, felt, and experienced.
