Rom wilton rug

Rom is a striped rug made from wilton-woven recycled plastic (PET), making it a durable and sustainable alternative to other synthetic rugs. The material has a beautiful sheen, feels soft and comfortable underfoot, while also being highly durable and weather-resistant. Rom offers good colour retention and will not noticeably fade when exposed to moderate sunlight. It is also resistant to mould and stains, as dirt and liquids remain on the surface and can be easily removed. Versatile in use, the rug is suitable for floors with or without underfloor heating in entryways, hallways, kitchens, home offices, bedrooms, and living spaces, as well as outdoors on balconies and terraces.

Maintenance

Vacuum the rug regularly using a standard vacuum cleaner. Avoid using robot vacuum cleaners, as they may damage the rug. Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear and colour distribution. For heavier soiling, the rug can be rinsed with a garden hose. If needed, use a textile stain remover, always testing it first on an inconspicuous area. Coffee, tea, and red wine should be removed immediately to prevent staining. Allow the rug to dry thoroughly and store it flat in a dry place. Contact a professional specialist if deeper cleaning is required.
